Here are some of the Cherry Merry Muffin recipes. I tried them all and will give you my review. All of them are really easy as this is intended for kids. However, the main problem is finding the ingrdients when not living in the US. Sometimes it's tricky.
-250 gr of butter
-250 gr of sugar
-3 eggs
-1 small package of vanilla sugar
-500 gr of flour
-1 small package of powder yeast
-some cherries
Preparation:
-Mix the
butter, the sugar and the eggs until it's smooth.
-Add the vanilla sugar and mix again.
-Add the flour and the yeast and mix.
-Put the
dough in a muffin pan and put some cherries inside.
-Cook about 20 minutes at 180°.
-When the
muffins are ready, put one more cherry on the top each.
I've been doing this receipe for my friends for about 10 years. They love it. They are very good because the cherries give a nice taste and make the muffin less dry. If you want to make the dough even less dry you can add a little milk. I also recommand using a silicon mold and not a regular muffin pan because it's easier to get the muffins out without breaking them. Also I recommand the use of frozen cherries. As they are hard, it's easier to put them deep insude the dough without having the dough turning purple. And you won't have to pit them before.

It's original and very tasty. I just had trouble finding the grape juice that isn't available in all shops. I didn't freeze the juice. I just put it a few minutes in the freezer so it's very cold.

It's tasty. Just not easy to eat. The cookie is too hard compared to the ice cream.

It's very sweet but very good. I prefer the ice cream version that make a nice icy-hot effect. I had trouble finding cherry pie filling in Switzerland though. I also took small Belgian Waffles because I couldn't find frozen waffle.

It's very sweet but good but doesn't taste like peppermint at all. I guess my candy canes weren't peppermint flavor. I had some trouble to crush the sticks. The bag broke even with two layers. I used an accessory for my mixer that did a nice pink powder. But when I looked up on the web, I noticed I should have kept bigger parts. So the rolling pin should do but as the receipe name is pink, it would be cuter and I guess easier to eat too. I used a very creamy ice cream I guess I shouldn't have needed to refreeze it.
1. Mix 1/3 cup honey, 1 tablespoon oil and 2 eggs.
2. Add: 1 tablespoon grated orange rind, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 cups oatmeal . Stir.
3. Drop spoonfuls of dough on an oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 400°F (~200°C) for 8-10 minutes.
4. Serve them to your friends
See the pictures! That's what you get. In my opinion there's something missing in the recipe, like flour. Because it's too liquid with just oatmeal, honey and eggs. So it's smells really good when baking. But you can have them make a good shape and afterwards I wasn't even able to get them off the paper without completely breaking them. Then when I tasted it. It wasn't good. I forgot to add the oragne rind, but I don't think it would have changed anything. Don't bother!
